Anthony Pompliano’s Crypto Hiring Firm Inflection Points Launches with $12.6 Million Raise

Inflection Points Secures $12.6 Million in Funding to Revolutionize Crypto Employment and Corporate Training

Over the past 18 months, Inflection Points has been working tirelessly behind-the-scenes to build out a crypto-focused employment and corporate training business that connects companies seeking talent with individuals eager to enter the space. The firm has just secured $12.6 million in funding, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards revolutionizing the way people interact with the cryptocurrency industry.

A Visionary Approach to Crypto Employment

Inflection Points was founded by Colton Sakamoto and Anthony Pompliano, a renowned crypto entrepreneur and investor. With a portfolio valued at over $500 million and investments in over 100 early-stage companies, including Coinbase and BlockFi, Pompliano has established himself as a thought leader in the space. His vision for Inflection Points is to address the pressing need for talent within the crypto industry.

The Challenges of Finding Talent in Crypto

Pompliano shared that during his interactions with various founders and entrepreneurs in the crypto space, he often heard them express frustration over finding qualified professionals to join their teams. "I’d ask them what they needed help with," Pompliano explained, "and time and again, they would say, ‘if you have great talent, send them our way.’ This told me that companies were struggling to find the right people, while my inbox was overflowing with individuals eager to transition into the crypto industry."

A Profits-Driven Approach

Inflection Points has been profitable since its inception, and it wasn’t until the company hit seven figures in revenue that it decided to raise outside funding. According to a press release, the firm’s decision to seek investment was more about securing the right investors than the amount of capital raised.

Key Investors and Strategic Partnerships

The funding round saw participation from prominent investors, including Thiel Capital, Fifth Down Capital, XYZ Fund, Rose Park Advisors, Blockchange, and Third Prime. Notable angel investors, such as former Palantir CFO Colin Anderson, Eight Sleep CEO Matteo Franceschetti, and real estate developer Marc Roberts, also joined the list of contributors. Andrew Spellman, founder and managing partner at Fifth Down Capital, has taken a seat on Inflection Points’ board of directors.

Strategic Acquisition and Milestones

In addition to securing funding, Inflection Points recently acquired crypto-focused recruiting agency Proof of Talent. The firm has successfully helped over 1,000 individuals secure new jobs in the crypto industry with major firms like Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken, and others.

The Growing Demand for Crypto Talent

Pompliano believes that there is a growing brain drain from Silicon Valley and Wall Street into the crypto space, driven by the increasing demand for talent. He predicts that this trend will continue as more companies explore blockchain technology and related services. "You’ll see explosive job growth in the space," he noted, "with new companies emerging to meet the needs of an expanding market."

A Bright Future for Inflection Points

With its secured funding and strategic partnerships, Inflection Points is poised to make a significant impact on the crypto employment landscape. As the industry continues to grow and mature, the firm’s innovative approach to connecting talent with opportunities will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping its future.
